OEM Process

What is your standard OEM development process?

Our OEM process follows four stages:

  1. 01.Inquiry & briefing -- share your product requirements, target specs, branding, and volume expectations.
  2. 02.Quotation & specification confirmation -- we provide a detailed quote and technical spec sheet for your review.
  3. 03.Sample development -- our pattern makers produce a physical prototype for approval, typically within 7-14 days.
  4. 04.Mass production -- once you approve the sample, we schedule production and provide regular updates until shipment.
Do you offer ODM services, or only OEM?
We offer both. Under OEM, we manufacture to your exact specifications and branding. Under ODM, we can develop a new product concept from scratch--structure, materials, dimensions, and packaging--based on your target market and use case. Many buyers start with our existing rack designs and customize from there.
Can I supply my own technical drawings or product specifications?
Yes. We accept technical drawings, reference samples, dimension sheets, or detailed written briefs. Our experienced pattern makers will review your specifications and advise on any manufacturing considerations before producing the prototype.

MOQ & Pricing

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ varies by product configuration and customization level. For standard catalog models (2, 4, 6, or 8-layer racks), the MOQ is typically 500 units per SKU. For custom OEM/ODM orders with private-label branding or non-standard specifications, MOQ starts at 1,000 units. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements--we are flexible for the right partnerships.
How is pricing structured for wholesale buyers?
We offer tiered factory-direct pricing based on order volume, product configuration, and customization scope. Larger volumes and longer-term buying programs receive more competitive unit pricing. We provide a detailed FOB quotation once you share your product requirements and estimated annual volume.
Can I mix different SKUs to reach the MOQ?
In some cases, yes. If you are ordering multiple standard catalog configurations (e.g., 4-layer and 8-layer racks using the same materials), we may be able to combine quantities. Mixed-SKU arrangements are evaluated case by case. Please share your full order breakdown when you inquire.

Lead Time

What is the typical production lead time after order confirmation?

Standard production lead time after deposit receipt and sample approval:

Standard catalog

25-35 days

Custom OEM/ODM

35-50 days

Peak season

+7-14 days

Exact timelines are confirmed at order placement based on current capacity and your specifications.

Can you accommodate urgent or expedited orders?
Rush orders may be possible depending on current factory capacity and order complexity. Please contact us as early as possible with your required ship date. We will advise on feasibility and any applicable expedite costs.
How do you communicate production progress during an active order?
We provide regular production updates via email, including milestone confirmations at cutting, sewing, quality inspection, and pre-shipment stages. Pre-shipment photos and inspection reports are shared before final payment is requested.

Samples

How do I request a sample? Is there a sample fee?

Email sales@dafuany.com with your required configuration, size, and any customization details. Sample fees apply and vary by complexity:

  • --Standard catalog samples: a nominal sample fee applies, refundable against your first bulk order.
  • --Custom OEM/ODM samples: development fee quoted based on complexity; partially refundable on confirmed orders.

Shipping costs are at the buyer's expense unless otherwise agreed.

How long does it take to receive a sample?
Standard catalog samples are typically ready within 5-7 business days. Custom OEM/ODM samples require 7-14 business days for pattern making and production. International transit time via express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS) is additional, usually 3-7 days depending on destination.
Can the sample include my brand's logo and packaging?
Yes. If you require branded labels, hang tags, carry bags, or retail packaging on the sample, please provide your artwork files (AI, PDF, or high-resolution PNG) and specify placement. Branded samples may require a slightly longer development time and an adjusted sample fee.

Payment

What payment terms do you offer?
Our standard payment terms are 30% deposit upon order confirmation, with the 70% balance paid before shipment after pre-shipment inspection approval. For established long-term buyers, we may discuss extended payment arrangements. All payments are in USD.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept T/T (bank wire transfer) as the primary payment method. We also support PayPal for sample fees and smaller transactions. For large orders, L/C (Letter of Credit) at sight is available for qualified buyers. Please contact us to discuss the most suitable method for your transaction.
Is a formal proforma invoice (PI) provided before payment?
Yes. A signed proforma invoice detailing product specifications, quantities, unit prices, total value, payment terms, and estimated shipment date is issued before any payment is requested. Full commercial documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin) is provided at shipment.

Shipping

Which shipping methods and Incoterms do you support?

We ship from our factory in Chizhou, Anhui, China. Supported Incoterms and methods include:

  • --FOB (Shanghai / Ningbo) -- most common for bulk sea freight orders.
  • --CIF -- we arrange freight and insurance to your destination port.
  • --EXW -- available for buyers who use their own freight forwarder.
  • --Express courier (DHL / FedEx / UPS) -- for samples and small orders.
Which markets do you currently ship to?
We serve buyers across North America (USA, Canada), Europe (UK, Germany, Netherlands, France, and more), Australia, and Southeast Asia. If your destination is not listed, please ask--we ship globally and can work with your preferred freight forwarder.
Do you handle customs documentation and export compliance?
Yes. We provide all standard export documents: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, and certificate of origin. We can also prepare MSDS sheets or other compliance documents required by your import country. Import duties and destination customs clearance remain the buyer's responsibility.

Customization

What product attributes can be customized?

We support a wide range of product customizations:

Dimensions: rack diameter, layer height, number of layers
Materials: mesh type, fabric weight, zipper grade
Colors: frame, mesh, and zipper color combinations
Branding: woven labels, printed logos, hang tags
Packaging: carry bag design, retail box, polybag
Structure: opening style, hanging hook type, frame gauge
Can you print or embroider our logo on the product and packaging?
Yes. We support woven labels, screen-printed logos on carry bags, and custom hang tags. For packaging such as retail boxes or polybags, we work with trusted local suppliers to produce your artwork. Please provide vector artwork files (AI or PDF) and Pantone color references where applicable. A pre-production artwork proof is always shared for your approval before production begins.
Does customization affect MOQ or lead time?
Minor customizations such as color changes or label additions have minimal impact on MOQ and lead time. Significant structural or dimensional changes may require a higher MOQ (typically 1,000+ units) and extend lead time by 7-14 days for pattern development and tooling. We will confirm the exact impact in your quotation before you commit to an order.
Is my custom product design kept confidential?
Yes. We respect intellectual property and treat all buyer designs, specifications, and branding as strictly confidential. We are happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before sharing detailed specifications or beginning development work. Please request an NDA when you initiate your inquiry.
